WITHIN RUST Reveal Colourful Music Video for Song “Sleeping On The Floor” [Exclusive Premiere]

We’re happy to help premiere the music video for the song “Sleeping On The Floor” from Vancouver, BC-based rock quartet, Within Rust. The song comes from the band’s newest album Light And Shadow and sees them tout their blend of progressive/alternative rock and pop; it’s a strange but accessible sonic cocktail not to be missed.

Said the band about the video: “SOTF for me was very much meant to be a full circle kind of song. Where maybe I’m dealing with my inner anxieties of not accomplishing enough in my life despite being a try hard, but still taking stock of my experiences. Ya know, you might be in the gutter but at least you’re in the gutter with your friends and someone’s got a great story. There’s a real sense of mortality, and awareness in this song that I don’t think we’ve ever really tapped into before now. The video itself shows us in a warehouse playing, intermittently with or without this dazzling light display. We brought those lights in and Lewis and John actually programmed them, they’re really proud of that fact. Our buddy Jony Roy at Pixel Point Media did a killer job at filming and editing everything, and we couldn’t be happier.”
