Massachusetts-based Indie-rock band War Games have just premiered a cover of Sisqo’s “Thong Song” – yep, you read that correctly. The group surprised fans yet again by stepping aside from their standard message of “uplifting and inspiring listeners with inspirational and motivating themes” to have some fun, with the 1999 hit.

After a year of promoting their debut album Holding Patterns, which was premiered via Alternative Press, War Games have taken to Soundbox Recording Studios in New Bedford, MA to record this cheeky and energetic cover. Prepare to be taken back to high school.

Said the band: “This release is purely fun and for enjoyment, it should be for fans of a good time and smiling.”
