Perth-based Post-Black Metal outfit Illyria are streaming the single “Sarim” from their new Self-Titled album.
Perth-based Post-Black Metal outfit Illyria have just released their much anticipated debut self-titled album. Lead single “Sarim” recently premiered online and has received a warm response throughout Australia. Illyria debuted in 2015 with single “Cold Summer” and followed it up with the “Wonder”.
Inspired by fellow contemporaries Alcest, Deafheaven, Lantlôs and Les Discrets – Illyria’s goal is to capture and build on the gracious melodies and pulsating rhythms of the hybrid genre whilst pushing the accessibility of the genre to new listeners around the world.
