We are extremely happy to offer up Norwegian metal band Evig Natt’s new track “Bringer of Ice” for free download! Hailing from Karmøy in Western Norway, the group has a pretty eclectic and original sound that they describe as “aggressive but subtle, noisy yet beautiful, a maelstrom of symphonic darkness that could only be described as orchestral black metal.” We definitely couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Evig Natt has been together now since roughly 2003 and feature ex-members of other prominent bands such as Einherjer, Thundra and Enslaved. They released their debut album, I Am Silence, almost a decade ago and followed it up in 2010 with Darkland. They just released their self-titled third record in March featuring nine brand new tracks. Recorded and produced by the band itself, the album incorporates inspiration from bands like Anathema, My Dying Bride, Swallow The Sun and The Provenance.
