Eagles of Death Metal @ PNE Forum (Vancouver, BC) on April 26, 2016 [Photos & Show Review]
Last week Eagles of Death Metal opened for Death From Above 1979 at the PNE Forum in Vancouver; a must see when in town.
Last week Eagles of Death Metal opened for Death From Above 1979 at the PNE Forum in Vancouver – though it would be fair to say they were equal headliners. Eagles of Death Metal, a heavily toured band who’ve been around their fair share of stages since the late ’90’s, know how to work a crowd. The EODM dudes seemed genuinely pleased to be playing for the Vancouver crowd.
Jesse Hughes aka “Boots Electric” aka “Father Badass” regaled the show-goers with Vancity tidbits from previous visits to the West Coast. Speaking of Jesse Hughes, there is certainly no one more charismatic; the way he uses the stage, constantly jiving is infectious. Pure showmanship that any rock fan could get behind. The many elements lending to a perfect set of their particular brand of rock further proves that Eagles of Death Metal are a must-see act when they come to town.
