The Skinny: Perfecting their industrial brand of rock/metal, Projekt F bring the heat on their loudest release to date with The Butterfly Effect that discusses the torrid relationship between man and God. The EP is a continuation of their thematic discography Skins (2013) and Under The Skin (2014) and features their latest single “Tongue,” which is now streaming below.
The band comments on the release: “The concept of The Butterfly Effect is based on Chaos Theory and how can things be and yet not be. Each song on the EP is the same song, but written at different moments, situations, and unfolding in various ways. Our single, ‘Tongue’ is man talking to God, desiring forgiveness, and cutting off his own tongue in order to unite with and be one with God’s voice. Living in this folly, forming an endless loop of self-mutilation, each of the songs represents a different version of his destruction.”
