Founded in September of 2013, Novacrow are a new-but-awesome British hard rock quartet composed of Kitty Staunton (vox, guitar), Jonyx (guitar), Federico Spera (bass, backing vox), and Torben Schmidt-Hansen (drums). With a solid mix of both metal and rock, they infuse their sound with just the right amount of sleaze as can be heard on this free download of the group’s song “The Mantra”.
If you think you’ve heard the name Kitty Synthetica before, that’s because she’s somewhat of a YouTube sensation. Kitty has a ton of awesome and well-trafficked cover songs up on her YouTube Channel. Covers aside, Kitty is now fronting this rad band and, according to their accompanying press pack, “guarantee an erection inducing live show, fun for the whole family.”
