The Skinny: Dead Stars’ sophomore LP, Bright Colors, is due out March 4th on the band’s own Weird Tree Records, and now you can hear a second song from the upcoming release. It’s no surprise that Dead Stars’ sound has earned comparisons to indie-rock titans like Dinosaur Jr., Teenage Fanclub, Weezer, and The Lemonheads, but they’re not riding the coattails of ’90s nostalgia; they’re simply remembering what drew them to music in the first place.
