CutiePie Cupcakes and Co Launch Party – The Citizen, Toronto – Jan 21, 2016
One of my favorite treats (which is their specialty) was their WhoopiePie, which is kind of like a giant cupcake sandwich. WhoopiePies come in all different flavors, with many different fillings, and I’m pretty sure if I was rich, that’s all I eat.

This past Thursday evening I headed over to The Citizen on King St. West for CutiePie Cupcakes & Co‘s exclusive launch party celebrating their brand new website and online store. CutiePie has actually been around since 2009 and has been baking delicious cupcakes for all kinds of awesome Toronto events. They also sell cupcakes for charity in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, which you can find out more about on their site – HERE.
One of my favorite treats (which is their specialty) was their WhoopiePie, which is essentially is a giant cupcake sandwich. WhoopiePies come in all different flavors, with many different fillings, and I’m pretty sure if I was rich, that’s ALL I would eat. I also sampled a few of their cupcakes, and my favorites were the Salty Caramel Pretzel and Cookie Dough Craze. You can see a full cupcake menu on their new website.
The party itself was truly fun, including a ‘make your own’ cupcake stand, and Ivan The Magician literally appeared out of nowhere, and did all kinds of fun, interactive tricks around the launch event. Though I knew there must be a logical way to explain the trick, I was still pretty impressed. I also thought it was a great way to bring entertainment to an intimate party and not have it the main focus.
I highly encourage you to check out CutiePie’s and everything the company has to offer for parties, events, and simply even for your sweet tooth needs. As for me, I’ll definitely be dreaming of these yummy desserts for days to come.
