The Skinny: Manchester, England, four-piece City Reign are at it again with their soaring new single, “Into The Night,” following hot on the heels of their recent single “Sympathy” which has been causing a stir over the holiday period. A full LP entitled Dasein is in the pipeline and will be out later in the New Year.
“Into The Night” sees City Reign return to these familiar themes of confusion and vulnerability which are fast becoming their hallmark. The track is by far their most ambitious sounding work to date, and is sure to blow you away from the first spin.
Inspired by the likes of The National, The Smiths, and Scottish rockers Idlewild, City Reign blend the surreal with the drearily everyday, all with the instinctive blend of eloquence and aggression that is the hallmark of all the great British rock bands we know and love.
