Top 5 Interviews Of 2015 According To Music Journalist Kat Harlton
2015 was an amazing year for me. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to interview some of the most fascinating artists I’ve come across. I had such a great time with all of them, and look forward to 2016. Below are my ‘Top 5’ favorite interviews of 2015.
1. Interview with Leon Harrison and Matt Morris of The Lazys – November 12, 2015
“With every magic moment, there’s always an imperfection.”-Leon Harrison
2. An Interview with Finger Eleven’s James Black-November 17, 2015
“A band firing on all cylinders. Playing real rock and roll with high energy. No tracks, no lip-syncing or faking. Real raw rock and roll.”-James Black
3. ET Canada’s Ultimate Survivor Adventure – An Interview with Erin Cebula – September 17, 2015
“Survivor is the most impressive production I have every witnessed. I still can’t get over how close to 400 people are able to produce massively complicated scenes so seamlessly, and have so much fun doing it. This is the way it should be!”-Erin Cebula
4. An Interview with ‘Husk’ author J.Kent Messum – October 19, 2015
“The message I want readers to walk away with is this: There may be no limit to how much someone is willing to take from you. Greed is a growth industry, and some people have insatiable appetites”. -J.Kent Messum
5. An Interview with Actor Kevin McGarry of Open Heart-February 18, 2015
“I was in my scrubs and a lab coat and I was going up to the floor where we were shooting, and a real doctor, or he might have been a nurse, gets in the elevator. I look over and say, ‘Rough day, eh man?’ and he was like ‘yeah…’ I think he was trying to figure out who I was.”-Kevin McGarry
