Orange County, California-based experimental punk rock band Robot Work is actually a solo project and one-man band conjured up by guitarist, programmer and vocalist Nam Ngo. According to Ngo, he “has always wanted to play in a band. However, not knowing others who share the same passion for experimental punk rock, he took it upon himself to do everything solo. Nam writes, performs, records, creates album artworks, books, and plays shows all by himself.”
Robot Work has a multitude of different of recordings available through their Bandcamp page, the newest of which is the sophomore full-length Programmer. The album dropped on October 27, 2015 and features 9 tracks of raw, stripped-down to the point where it only has guitar, programmed drums, and vocals.
