Tales of Touring Terror: Episode #034 “Riding The Lightning” featuring The Darkness
We scored some time with Justin Hawkins, lead vocalist and guitarist of UK rock icons, The Darkness, and were treated to several videos, the first of which is this nerve-wracking Tales of Touring Terror clip.
The Skinny: UK-based rock icons, The Darkness, are busy running around the globe in support of their 4th and latest album, Last of Our Kind. A truly awesome release, the recording entered the UK charts at No. 12 on its release in June. While in Toronto, we scored some time with lead vocalist and lead/rhythm guitarist, Justin Hawkins. Hawkins was a pleasure to speak with and afforded us several videos, the first of which is this nerve-wracking Tales of Touring Terror clip.
Against The Current: “I’ve seen a lot of bands come and go. We’ve gone the distance, and I’m really proud of that.”
Gaerea: “I knew what emotions I wanted to convey with this album. I knew it was going to be more about me as an individual.”
