The Skinny: Keddy is a modern rock artist from Toronto, Ontario that is quite different from most everything else in the indie/rock arena at present. As we previously noted, the group is lead by a talented musician whose lyrics are often inspired by mystic and gothic poetry. In this premiere of the video for “Hunting Of The Wren” you get a great idea of the previous sentiment.
According tom Keddy, “The song is a manifestation of an inner dialogue of a wiseman/possessed schizophrenic. It serves as a taping of the two, so the audience will hear both his inner dialogue, and the messages of ‘enchanted voices’ that attempt to dismantle his sanity.”
