The Skinny: Hy Brasil are a Ventura, CA-based alternative rock quintet who aren’t afraid to step outside of the confines of traditional songwriting and crate something all their own. The band recently released their debut EP, Animal’s Grace, and now we’re thrilled to offer an exclusive stream of the new song “Misanthropic.” Enjoy!
What makes this band unique you ask? Well, according to their bio, Hy Brasil feature “a harp, handmade drums, and a somewhat complex history involving previous mutual bands” all of which takes their sound to new levels. Sure there are the much-needed hooks and catchy choruses, but by using a harp among other non-typical instruments, we get something truly different.
