We’re very much digging Finnish death metal band Torchia and, after grabbing a free download of their song “Ending Beginning,” we think you will be too!
Tampere, Finland is home to a death metal quintet that goes by the moniker, Torchia. The five members each share a deep passion for music (writing, recording, and playing) and this zest is evident in the band’s 2015 release, the 3-song EP Ending Beginning, which also serves as an introduction to the group’s new vocalist Eetu Hentunen.
Ville “Phinx” Riitamaa (lead guitar, backing vox), Henri Heikkinen (guitar), Pirkka Birkstedt (bass), and Joonas Juntunen (drums) round out the rest of this group who, according to their bio, have a “musical style…influenced from traditional old-school agony to thrash and speed metal, mixing it with some newer and modern pain.” We’re very much digging Torchia and after grabbing a free download of their song “Ending Beginning,” we think you will be too!
