Hudson – “Rock and Roll” (Led Zeppelin Cover) [Exclusive Song Stream Premiere]
We’re totally stoked to be able to premiere Hudon’s gnarly cover of Led Zeppelin’s classic track, “Rock and Roll.”
The Skinny: Hudson are a Los Angeles, CA-based band that play dirty, bluesy, swagger-infused rock and roll and man, this shit is tight. It’s got driving bass lines, chugging drumbeats, whiskey-soaked vocals, slide guitar, harmonica… basically it’s totally fucking bad-ass. So, as such, we’re totally stoked to be able to premiere Hudon’s gnarly cover of Led Zeppelin’s classic track, “Rock and Roll.”
Building off the success of their previous release, In The Unknown, Hudson are currently putting the finishing touches on their forthcoming EP, Cast Out, which is due out on October 21st, 2015. This cover song was recorded by the band in celebration of Led Zeppelin being back on the Billboard charts with their album re-releases. Said Hudson of covering “Rock and Roll”, “We covered it ’cause it’s been a long time since rock and roll.”
