Saxon, one of the forefathers in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, hit the House of Blues on Sunset and showed LA that they’ve still got it.

Two of heavy metal’s most respected acts threw down the gauntlet at the House of Blues on Sunset, and it was a night to be remembered. Saxon, one of the forefathers in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, showed LA that they’ve still got it. Vocalist Biff Byford has kept his voice in great shape over the past four decades, and proved it throughout the set. Highlights included: “Motorcycle Man”, “Sacrifice”, “Power and the Glory”, “This Town Rocks” and “Denim and Leather”.
