“I’m Not Afraid” is our newest song download and is the 19th track off Lila Ignite’s most recent release, the 20-track album, Not Punk Rock.
Who is Lila Ignite, you ask? Well, simply put, they’re a punk rock/alt pop quartet consisting of Tyler Reed (vocals), Dan Congdon (bass), Tom Lewis (guitar, vocals), and Jon Shackelton (drums), who hail from Binghamton, NY. We dig the band’s sound so, when they approached us to host a free download of one of their latest songs, we couldn’t say no.
“I’m Not Afraid” is our newest song download and is the 19th track off Lila Ignite’s most recent release, the 20-track album, Not Punk Rock. Yep, we did say 20 songs! Released on October 24, 2014 Not Punk Rock, as the band states, is: “…exactly why their latest release is titled Not Punk Rock…In a world of artists competing on obscurity, irony and cliques, Lila Ignite is reminding you that when you strip it back to its core, punk rock has always been about not being afraid to do what you love, and not giving in to the latest trend.”
