The online channel, FreqsTV recently premiered a new mini-documentary focused on the making of the new book “And Justice For Art: Stories About Heavy Metal Album Covers,” which is a continuation of the series of the same name. The 4-minute short film can be watched bellow and is narrated by the book’s author, Ramon Oscuro Martos. Martos discusses details about making the book and comments about the present and the future of album covers.

“I was delighted to see that someone had finally taken the time to do a book on metal cover art,” says the doc’s director, Randy Salo who collaborated with Martos in the making of the video. “My inspiration really hit me when my copy of the book arrived: the high quality images, the thick paper and the totally behind-the-scenes stories about a lot of my favorite album artworks were in there. This book is definitely for those metal fans who want to see the legacy of cover art preserved.”
