ABOUT BAYSIDE:
After selling out 21 of 26 shows on their last major US headliner, Queens punk rockers Bayside are excited to announce that they will be hitting the road this spring for what will be their biggest tour yet. The special 15 Year Birthday Tour will run from March 5th to April 4th, and features supporting acts Senses Fail, Man Overboard, and Seaway. Pre-sale for tickets and VIP packages begins today, here: http://bit.ly/11vaKe9, with general sale beginning on December 4th. VIP packages for the tour include intimate Meet & Greets on the Bayside bus, Early Entry into the shows, and other exclusive items.

While watching many of their peers enjoy rapid success and a subsequent decline, Bayside has quietly soldiered on. Their slow-burning career has earned them one of the most dedicated fan bases in rock, and one that continues to grow to this day. The band has recently begun to break out world wide, and is currently touring in Europe with The Gaslight Anthem, as well as being scheduled to perform at next year’s Soundwave Festival in Australia. Fifteen years into an impressive career, the band is still expanding its reach and making its best records, further cementing its status as a legacy act.

On the upcoming 15 Year Birthday Tour, front-man Anthony Raneri tells us, “This tour has been 15 years in the making for us. We know that it will not only be the biggest Bayside Tour yet but also the best. It’s been 15 years of dress rehearsals to be able to come out swinging with the very best show we’ll have ever put on.”

In celebration of their 15th Anniversary, Bayside will also be re-issuing their newest – and highest charting – album Cult as a special edition double LP. The Cult White Edition will feature four bonus tracks, including a brand new song titled “Dancing Like an Idiot” and “Indiana” from the band’s Record Store Day 2014 exclusive 7”. The album can be pre-ordered on vinyl here: http://bit.ly/1zE12SI, or on iTunes here: http://bit.ly/1qucnoy.

With each purchase of this special vinyl edition of Cult, Bayside and Hopeless Records non-profit Sub City will make a donation to The Human Rights Campaign (HRC). The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of nearly 2 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, HRC envisions an America where LGBT people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community. Bayside consists of Anthony Raneri (vocals, guitar), Jack O’Shea (lead guitar), Nick Ghanbarian (bass), and Chris Guglielmo (drums). The band formed in the winter of 2000 in Queens, NY, undergoing numerous lineup changes in the early years. Through Raneri’s sheer persistence and dedication Bayside progressed, eventually releasing two EPs with Dying Wish Records. Those efforts led to a contract with Victory Records in 2003, and Bayside’s 2004 full-length debut, Sirens & Condolences. The group went on to release three more quintessential LPs with Victory, cementing their place as one of the most important bands in the modern underground music scene—Self-Titled, The Walking Wounded, and Shudder —before briefly moving to Wind-Up Records in 2010 for Killing Time, their most widely visible album to date. In 2013 Bayside opened another exciting new chapter in their career, signing with punk powerhouse Hopeless Records, and releasing their latest album, Cult, earlier this year.
