Toronto, Canada is home to the unsigned metalcore band Cadence Calling, a young-but-driven group of four musicians – Stephen Boyd (vocals), Nick Vazquez (lead guitar), Josh Vicente (rhythm guitar) and Nikko Melo (drums) – who released their debut EP, Metamorphosis, on December 25, 2014.
Metamorphosis is a 5-song effort loaded with relentless riffs, catchy choruses, and some bad-ass breakdowns. The guys, who’ve already had the chance to share the stage with acts such as: As Blood Runs Black, Thy Art is Murder, We Butter The Bread With Butter, Rings of Saturn, Despised Icon, Ion Dissonance, and Liferuiner, are now focused on getting their music out to as many people as possible – hence this free download of “The Fated.”
