With only two weeks remaining before the release of their highly anticipated new LP, The Contortionist are debuting a new single called “Primordial Sound” today. “Primordial Sound” is also available as an iTunes “Instant Gratification” track. Meaning, fans who pre order Language today will get the single immediately. That’s also the case for “Language I: Intuition,” the first track the band premiered a few weeks ago. The band will release the new full-length via eOne Music/Good Fight Music. The Contortionist tapped producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me) to produce at The Basement Recording Studio in Winston-Salem, NC. “Making this record from start to finish was quite an experience,” says guitarist Robby Baca. “From the initial attempts at songwriting to the tracking sessions with Jamie, it’s an experience that I cant wait to share with everyone.”
