Marmozets – “Hit The Wave” [YouTube Song Stream]
Marmozets have debuted “Hit The Wave,” a brand new track off of their forthcoming debut album, The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets. Produced by former Hundred Reasons guitarist Larry Hibbitt, the album emphasizes Marmozets’ growing skill in developing a broad range of styles, including the punk assault of “Cover Up” and “Born Young And Free,” the brooding dynamic contrasts featured on ‘Captivate You’, the visceral aggression of “Why Do You Hate Me?” and the soaring progressive epic “Cry.”
The Skinny: Marmozets have debuted “Hit The Wave,” a brand new track off of their forthcoming debut album, The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets.
Marmozets, who are comprised of two sets of siblings; Becca Macintyre (vocals), Sam Macintyre (guitar/vocals), Josh Macintyre (drums), Jack Bottomley (guitar) and Will Bottomley (bass/vocals) have been cutting their teeth since 2011, earning widespread applause for their chaotic live shows. Nominated for the “Best British Newcomer” Award at the 2013 Relentless Kerrang! Awards, Marmozets have destroyed stages all over the UK including appearances at the prestigious Download and Reading and Leeds festivals. With an average age of 18, Marmozets are no strangers to the road and have toured alongside the likes of Gallows, Young Guns, Funeral For A Friend and more, recently completing a sold-out UK headline tour.
