If I had one word to sum up High On Fire, brutal would say it all. Only a 3-piece band, they absolutely shredded on stage. You can’t help but head-bang as they tear through their power chords and intense riffs. High On Fire played a sold out show in the heart of San Francisco at a joint known as The Chapel SF on August 20th, 2014. The Chapel is a historic building from 1914 that was formally a mortuary. The venue holds close to 500 people, but they packed in the crowd. From the front of the stage to the very back, not a single empty spot stood. High On Fire put on a free show allowing fans to RSVP to see the show. Opening for High On Fire, a California instrumental metal native band, Arctic, warmed up the crowd.
