Dope – “Selfish” [Song Review]
I was a fan of the band in the late ’90’s and can honestly say that after hearing “Selfish” I will be anxiously awaiting the release of their full-length, Bloodmoney.
The Industrial metal stalwarts, Dope, are back and in full effect with “Selfish,” the lead single off their upcoming album Bloodmoney! As you might expect from a band as iconic as Dope, this is a slick production packed to the gills with driving rhythms, killer riffs and tons of aggression. “Selfish” does not stray far from the typical Dope sound, but certainly has a new, modern twist about it.
I was a fan of the band in the late ’90’s and can honestly say that after hearing “Selfish” I will be anxiously awaiting the release of their full-length, Bloodmoney, which is set to drop in 2015.
Run Time: 4:20
Release Date: August 28, 2014
