New Lungs are a gifted rock band whose latest release, Reviver, became available for public consumption on July 13, 2014. The 5-song EP boasts a pleasant mix of everything from post-rock and post-punk to indie, emo and pop-punk, but at the end of the day, this is rock… good rock. Originally from Bellevue, WA, the band also spends a ton of time in and around Seattle. Check out a free download of their new song “No Blades OK”.
New Lungs’ members, Wes, Nick, Rob, Scott and Gehrig, have had a VERY bust 3 years including gigging as much as possible when 3 of the band’s 4 members were on break from College. The distance also pushed the group to collaborate via web, sending ideas back and forth to each other via email. This way of writing has thus far led to three self-released EPs – the newest of which being Reviver, which has to date, been received with high acclaim.
