The Saint-Petersburg, Russia-based melodic death/doom metal trio known as Human Collapse released their debut album, Darkness To Fall, on April 5th, 2014, and it’s one HELL of a debut at that. The EP has 6 songs total and boasts some musicianship and songwriting that will leave your mouth agape in awe. For example, check out the free download of the song “Novembersmile”.
Now that you’ve heard “Novembersmile” you’re beginning to comprehend the intensity and awesomeness of this band. While the group commenced in 2011 as Igor Maslov’s (guitars, programming) solo project, he soon added Andrey Tkachenko (vocals) and Egor Lappo (bass) rounding out the lineup and affording them the necessary final touches before hitting the studio to record Darkness To Fall. The album was mixed and mastered by Vladimir Andreev (My Realm Studio) while vocals were recorded by Nikolai Vertogradov and self-released soon thereafter.
