With Chamberlain at the helm, Underoath became a major force in the post-hardcore scene, with two gold albums, multiple Grammy nominations, and crossover success unusual for bands in the scene. Now come Sleepwave with their debut album Broken Compass, the next step in the evolution of Spencer Chamberlain. With an even more melodic, accessible sound, sacrificing none of the intense songwriting that garnered Underoath and a massive following, Broken Compass is sure to put Sleepwave on the map from day one; working with producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice and Men), the band has crafted an album of intense anthemic rock.
