The Skinny: Check out this perfect song for the Independence Day holiday from NYC’s Cold Beer & Broads. A collective of musicians who have rubbed elbows with legends and had a hand in critically acclaimed projects (e.g., Nicky Hopkins, Pete Townshend, Jersey Boys), these guys know that beer and babes are the key to a good July 4th party.

They’re gearing up to release their EP Six Pack in September and have revealed one song so far, “First Amendment Blues (The F.U. Song),” which, despite its profane chorus, was received warmly and pushed out to radio from Fall 2013 through Winter 2014. It eventually received broadcast airplay on dozens of college radio stations.
