Having recently hit a few bumps and curves in the road (member changes and van issues included), Dead Ocean has solidified itself as a 3 piece band and now has their debut album soon to be released on Hotfoot Records. Throughout all the issues, they’ve taken a new approach to the music with the same aggression. Definitely a left field hit compared to their EP release Depopulation.
The new single, “Slave Nation”, is just an idea of whats to come from Dead Ocean in the near future. While the single was recorded and mixed by Matt Labonte at Project 2 studios, Dead Ocean is recording the album with Bryce Kariger at Rigerous Recordings.
