You may consider their sound heavy, post-metal but the group would prefer you not get caught up with the whole genre thing and just enjoy the music. They formed in 2007 in Lausanne, Switzerland, a city in Romandy, the French-speaking part of the country and since then have been quite active throughout Europe, playing wherever and whenever they possibly can.
Musically, the five-piece released their acclaimed debut EP Over The Frozen Seas in 2009. Their debut, full-length album called Aegan came in 2012 which was followed up with their latest EP Circles, released in February, 2014. Never ones to shy from the road, When Icarus Falls is at the beginning of a Spring tour that will go 16 dates throughout Europe with more shows planned for the Summer.
