Featuring members of the experimental metal band Fallstaf, The Great Russian Empire/The White Army is a new group from Montreal, Quebec that features a double bass approach (bassist Benny Boy Floyd and bassist Nicolas Miquelon) and is today premiering it’s debut single entitled “Pig’s Blood”. The track’s words and music were written by Benoît Forté and was recorded by Benny Boy Floyd, Nicolas Miquelon and Davis Méliès. Mixed and mastered by Davis Méliès this year, we’re stoked to share “Pig’s Blood” with YOU! Check it out.
According to the band’s new bio: “their latest track ‘Pig’s Blood’ influenced by friends and family members who fought cancer and based on a Quebec expression ‘se faire du sang de cochon’, which means ‘to worry a lot about someone, something.’ The empire is proud to continue in the studio with more creations to add to their forthcoming EP The Bloody Three & One For The Road“.
