I wonder if John Petrucci, John Myung, and Mike Portnoy – founding members of the band Dream Theater – thought they would remain as successful as they have been through the past 20 years while not achieving mainstream success? Playing three hours with a short ten min break, James Labrie’s sweet vocals were crisp and well, the rest of the band, led by one of the world’s greatest guitarist (John Petrucci) filled the arena with a perfect sound diving into over twenty songs. A cool video screen just behind them filled almost the entire length of the stage and added additional atmosphere. Dream Theater is a band you should not miss. They are on a long tour. Catch them if you can!
