The Skinny: Sacramento death metal ogres ALTERBEAST have unleashed today the latest track of technical tenacity and demonical debauchery from their new album. Titled “Mutilated Marvel,” the track features on the band’s forthcoming new full-length, Immortal, set for release via Unique Leader Records next month.
Meticulously assembled in several locals throughout 2013, with guitars and bass recorded at Augmented Audio in Los Angeles by former The Black Dahlia Murder bassist Ryan “Bart” Williams, vocals arranged at Mayhemeness Studios in Sacramento by Bob Swanson (Rings Of Saturn) and drums tracked at Castle Ultimate Studios with Zack Ohren (Light This City, All Shall Perish, First Blood, Cattle Decapitation, Warbringer), who also mixed and mastered the release, Immortal vows to supply some of the most dynamic, instrumentally adept and plainly scathing material of the year.
