SWF – “Warrior” [SoundCloud Song Stream]

Brooklyn’s lo-fi rock visionary SWF released his debut album Let It Be Told last month to critical acclaim worldwide, and now he’s premiered “Warrior,” a stand-out track from the album, via SoundCloud. In addition, SWF has lined up a handful of East Coast tour dates in November and early December, which includes a hometown show in Boston, and a show at Shea Stadium in Brooklyn w/ Unicycle Loves You and Deleted Scenes.

SWF’s messages of love and longing roll from his debut album, Let It Be Told, like mantras blasted from the radio of a brightly re-painted VW van, cruising a metaphysical highway of endless Summer with the windows down. Recorded in Memphis, Let It Be Told‘s soulful proclamations are backed by a chorus of fuzzy guitars, vocal harmonies, and very singable hooks. Revealed in both the spirit of light and darkness, Let It Be Told is a work of truth, love, and a heart that beats for rock & roll.
