A Pregnant Light – “Possession of Diamond” [Song Stream]

The Skinny: One man black metal band A Pregnant Light’s album Live to Tell floored me when I heard it a few weeks ago. The music on the release is a combo of black metal, hardcore and The Cure; a strange combo if there ever was one. The thing is though, that although musical combinations like this sound horrible, APL manage to pull it off with stunning ease!

“Possession of Diamond” is the fastest track on the album, yet one of the most intriguing – crushing sounds with melody strewn in occasionally, this is definitely some interesting stuff! Stream the song above and then check out the rest of the band’s catalogue!
