The Skinny: The Dismemberment Plan, the groundbreaking and influential indie rock four-piece, is excited to play songs from Uncanney Valley, the group’s first album of new music in 12 years, throughout the country this Fall. Earlier this month, The Dismemberment Plan released “Waiting,” the first track off of Uncanney Valley. Instead of sharing the song by tried-and-true music industry means, the band encouraged fans to call “252-64-DPLAN” to hear the song – both an innovative and retro concept that echoes the creative and fearless spirit of the band. Beginning today, fans are encouraged to call into the same phone number and leave a voicemail with their favorite Dismemberment Plan memory, for a chance to win a pair of tickets to a show on the upcoming tour.
