“Annexed” is a dark, quirky bout of power-pop, full of swirling hooks and garagey instrumentation. There’s hints of ’70s and ’80s influence present, but Daylight Robbery make the sound all their own in the best, most modern way possible. For fans of Terrible Feelings, Blondie, the Epoxies.
