Vancouver’s Cradle To Grave have been around since 2002. Formed by Denis “Sasquatch” Barthe and Greg Cavanagh, Cradle To Grave combine such diverse influences as Black Sabbath, Faith No More, Lynyrd Skynrd, and Slayer. All of this makes for an interesting sound that will appeal to a diverse range of metal fans.
The song “Ice” is from the band’s upcoming EP Dust. According to the band the song is about “being held back so you can’t reach your full potential. Sometimes it seems as though if you could spread your wings and fly you could accomplish your goals. But, there’s a lot of negative people and things that hold you back. It’s as if your wings were bound in ice, preventing you from getting where you should rightfully be.”
