Album Review
Careers In Science – “Cowards” [EP]
Cowards is the sophomore release from the Toronto-based, self-proclaimed nerdy, frenetic punk band Careers in Science. While I am new to the Careers In Science camp, I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. This new offering is packed to the gills with aggressive, fast-paced tunes, big catchy gang choruses, tons of sarcasm, and a healthy dose of humor!

The tune that stands out the most to me on this EP though is the title track, “Cowards”. The song has a cool offbeat groove and is heavier, edgier, and more aggressive than the other EP’s five other tracks. All in all I think Cowards to be a solid effort and if punk rock is your thing, then you might want to give these Canadians a listen sooner rather than later.
