Franchise – “Fade In/Grab You” [YouTube Song Stream]

Franchise is a four-piece alternative post-hardcore band from New Jersey. After months of back-and-forth texting and brainstorming, its members brought their diverse influences and talents together in the Winter of 2013 to create something genuine, driving, and powerful. After one session in a hot, dingy rehearsal room in the New Jersey suburbs, Franchise hit the ground running and hasn’t looked back since. Franchise recently debuted the first track off their upcoming full-length expected Summer 2013.

The Skinny: Franchise is a four-piece alternative post-hardcore band from New Jersey.

The band settled on the name Franchise as a symbol of how important each member’s commitment and individual strengths are to creating the band’s energetic yet technically and melodically progressive sound. The collective drive of its members to not only succeed in an unforgiving, unpredictable music industry, but create a product that transcends genres and preconceived notions is the heart of the band’s philosophy. From different beginnings, Franchise came together with the hopes of writing and performing a brand of aggressive music true to their own vision, not what’s popular and marketable in “the scene.”

Born in 2003, V13 was a socio-political website that, in 2005, morphed into PureGrainAudio and spent 15 years developing into one of Canada's (and the world’s) leading music sites. On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
