Brooklyn Militia – “Best To Be” [YouTube Song Stream]
Brooklyn Militia, the new thrash/hardcore/punk/metal band featuring former Whiplash and Kreator drummer Joe Cangelosi, vocalist Glenn Hansen (former Whiplash) and bassist Richard Day (former Primal Scream and Whiplash) will make its live debut on Friday, April 5th at The Acheron venue in Brooklyn, NY. “Best To Be” the first demo track from Brooklyn Militia is available for streaming below.
The Skinny: Brooklyn Militia, the new thrash/hardcore/punk/metal band featuring former Whiplash and Kreator drummer Joe Cangelosi, vocalist Glenn Hansen (former Whiplash) and bassist Richard Day (former Primal Scream and Whiplash) will make its live debut on Friday, April 5th at The Acheron venue in Brooklyn, NY. “Best To Be” the first demo track from Brooklyn Militia is available for streaming below.
Drummer Joe Cangelosi stated: “I’m very excited to get this band off the ground, it only took 3 years! with so many ups and downs, people flaking, lineup changes and overall dysfunction. we finally have a complete lineup and we are gearing up to play our debut show to open up the flood gate to the future of Brooklyn Militia. I want to thank everyone for their support and patience.”
The band is currently writing and demoing material for its debut album, tentatively due in early 2014 via an as-yet-undetermined record label.
