Secrets of the Sky – “Decline” [SoundCloud Song Stream]
“This Oakland, CA group is equal parts Insomnium, The Ocean, Agalloch, Type O Negative, Opeth and something all their own,” was what MetalSucks said about Secrets of the Sky back in May through one of their ‘Unsigned and Unholy’ columns. This immediately caught the eyes of many, including Gravedancer Records, who are excited to announce the worldwide signing of the band for the release of their upcoming To Sail Black Waters album.

Secrets of the Sky flawlessly blend elements of doom, death and black metal with a tinge of prog to create a rich and sonically devastating sound the has already ignited the underground with the first two tracks released by the band, “Sunrise” and “Winter”. Now, the band has completed work on their first full-length masterpiece, which will be unveiled on January 22, 2013.
