Love Stricken Demise – “Psychotrip” [EP]

Rock and roll is alive and well in Dallas, Texas in the form of Love Stricken Demise. Their newest EP Psychotrip contains four songs that are infectious, raw, rough around the edges, and full of swagger… the way I think good rock and roll should be! Musically, these guys are all solid players, but the feature that stands out most is the bass. Holly Wood’s fuzzy, boomy bass lines really propel the songs along providing the framework for the rest of the band to work their magic.

Love Stricken Demise has not recreated the wheel here by any mean, but have put together four really enjoyable tunes that are sure to get them noticed. I look forward to hearing more from these guys in the future. For now though, I suggest giving Psychotrip a spin. This is a record that lends itself to being cranked to 11, so turn it up, kick back and enjoy.
