Trixter – “New Audio Machine”

You are probably thinking the same thing I thought when the newest Trixter disc, New Audio Machine, arrived in my mailbox. Sure I was a fan of the band back in the ’80s, but I haven’t heard a peep out of them since the early ’90s. Needless to say, my first thought was “this is gonna be an ’80s band taking another half-hearted go at it.”

You are probably thinking the same thing I thought when the newest Trixter disc, New Audio Machine, arrived in my mailbox. I have to tell you the first song, “Drag Me Down” quickly set me straight. This is not repackaged ’80s crap, this is really good, kicking, relevant hard rock. Tons of killer riffs drive some of the best hard rock tunes I’ve heard in a long time. I know you’re scoffing while reading this (I can hear you!), but in all honesty this is a totally dope disc that I can’t get enough of.

It seems to me this was designed for slamming into the car stereo and hitting the highways; windows down speakers humming. I highly recommend checking out New Audio Machine; you won’t regret it.
