The Skinny: Legacy of Disorder originate from New Zealand where guitarist Rana Freilich met Jason Keill and later, singer James Robinson. Drummer Matt Thompson joined the group shortly before they began recording their debut album. In 2008, Legacy of Disorder recorded their self-titled debut in Texas with engineer and producer Sterling Winfield. The band would tour extensively after the album’s release in 2008 and finally returned to the studio in June 2011 to record their sophomore LP.
The new record is called Last Man Standing and just dropped in North America. To promote this release, L.O.D. are going out on the “Fate or Chaos Tour” with GWAR for the months of October and November. Also on the tour will be DevilDriver and the Cancer Bats. If you haven’t picked up the album yet, and need some last-minute incentive, here’s an exclusive, free download of the PUMMELING new track “March to Death!” Hail NZ Metal!
