The Skinny: Basick Records is proud to announce the latest addition to their growing international roster, American tech metallers Dissipate. There is absolutely no doubting that California’s Dissipate have a hell of a lot of noise to bring to the table. Showcasing genre-blending versatility, this is forward-thinking music that combines the percussive riffing and crushing precision of death metal, served with a brutal metal core edge. Dissipate have evolved at an incredible pace since re-grouping in 2011, working hard to hone and advance their sound, leading to a debut EP that pushes boundaries, complete with moments of exhilarating intensity.

The band’s debut release, Tectonics, is set to be released worldwide on November 19th and smashes its way through six raw tracks of complex and virulent 8 string guitar work with soaring experimental interludes which are all brought together under the strain of vitriolic and seething vocals. Updates and new music will be released on basickrecords.com as they become available.

Guitarist Mike Gianelli comments on the deal with Basick: “We are extremely grateful to be signing with Basick Records and to be given the opportunity to prove ourselves! To be on a label with such talented and eclectic artists is what we’ve always strived for since the beginning the band. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, booked us on shows and people who have helped get our name out there! We look forward to hitting the road, meeting new people and melting faces! Boom!”
