N.N.: Exclusive Eastern Canadian “Princes Tour” Journal with Drummer “Tones” – #5 Montreal

Montreal: Montreal, what can I say? Easily one of the most beautiful cities I’ve seen. Much like Toronto this city is alive at all times. However it had a more relaxed, “have a good time” vibe. We ended up arriving in Montreal late afternoon. Due to pricing and parking we ended up staying across the bridge in Brossard. About 20 min away from venue.

We arrived for our show at L’Esco around 930pm. The other bands greeted us at the door and helped unload all the gear. When I say it was hot out… total oven out there. Inside the venue it was even hotter. Other bands on the bill were Fleshmoves, Nubians and Les Zerreurs. All 3 of these bands were awesome and were attracting people off the street to come in for the show.

We hit the stage around 1am to a full crowd. Our second song was “Not Amused” and it set off the party. The crowd went crazy for the rest of the set. Screamed for encore. Great night. We hung out outside for a couple hours chatting with everyone before heading back to hotel. Thank you Montreal.

At the moment we are heading back to Edmonton. Another 30 hours of driving ahead of us. Its been an amazing time. Thank you to all our old and new friends that made this possible. Till next tour!
