Based out of Budapest Hungary Leander Rising’s 14-song debut album Heart Tamer delivers a whole new form of aggression, passion and ferocity. Caustic yet eloquent in their cathartic delivery, the band’s debut infuses a molten mix of influences that erupted with force. Originally a solo project for its namesake Leander Köteles, but his first video for the song “Bound To Belong” created an internet buzz throughout Hungary and caught the attention of Attila Vörös, a young and well-known guitarist, who has also toured worldwide with Seattle metal band Nevermore, Attila reached out to Leander via e-mail and their collaboration began. In the beginning Attila only came on to do some guest solos, but as time went on they found their true sound was together.
